Course Description
This course focuses on accelerating workload migration and modernization using AWS best practices and tools. Learners will begin by identifying and prioritizing workloads for migration, using frameworks such as the 7Rs strategy and tools like AWS Application Discovery Service and Migration Hub.
The course explores various migration approaches, including rehosting, replatforming, and rearchitecting, along with data and database migration strategies. Learners will gain hands-on experience with AWS Application Migration Service (MGN) and other migration tools.
Additionally, the course covers designing new architectures for legacy workloads using containers, serverless, and modern compute platforms. Learners will also explore modernization strategies such as decoupling applications, implementing event-driven architectures, and leveraging analytics and machine learning services.
Through hands-on labs and scenario-based learning, learners will develop the expertise needed to successfully migrate and modernize applications while preparing for the AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional (SAP-C02) exam.
